When you sell your car through Autobuster, you’ll get a higher sale price than you would at a traditional garage sale. That’s because Autobuster does a thorough valuation and determines the best market price for your car. In addition, the service offers professional services that will increase the value of your vehicle. A key benefit is that there are no middlemen to make extra money.

Selling a car with Autobuster is a carefully orchestrated process to ensure you get the best value for your vehicle without having to worry about the complex details of selling it:

• Online calculation: To start with, you calculate your vehicle online, including details of its current condition, and get an initial estimate of the selling price.
• Professional appraisal by TCS: In close cooperation with the Touring Club Switzerland (TCS), your vehicle will undergo a thorough inspection. This independent appraisal ensures that your car is presented in the best possible condition and that potential buyers have the necessary confidence in the buying process.
• Determination of the best-selling price: Based on the information gathered, we jointly determine the best-selling price for your car.
• Additional services to increase value: Autobuster offers a range of additional services that can increase the value of your vehicle. These include professional cleaning services, MOT inspection, warranty, etc.
• Targeted sales: Once your vehicle is fully prepared, we’ll take care of the targeted sales of your vehicle. We use our platform and our network of partners to reach a wide range of buyers. Our goal is to find the ideal buyer for your vehicle as quickly as possible.
• Test drive and negotiation: We accompany you on the two to three test drives and carry them out together. We then negotiate with the potential buyers and conclude a purchase contract.
• Payment and handover: Once the contract has been signed, we take care of the handover and payment of the vehicle. You will receive the money at the latest 10 days after the handover of the vehicle.

The Autobuster service fee is 5% of the sales price and covers our full range of services – from professional listing creation to smooth handover of your car. This fee only applies if the sale is successful.
In addition, we offer value-adding services such as professional servicing, preparation and execution of the MFK, and warranty options. For these, our app provides you with an initial cost estimate, which we then refine and align with you after a thorough vehicle inspection.
Finally, we carry out a professional interior and exterior cleaning for a total of CHF 280 – ensuring your car is presented in the best possible light.

If you decide to sell your car yourself after placing the order, you’ll only pay a fee for our efforts as well as any additional services you’ve booked.

Please note that the price quoted is based on your assessment of the car’s condition and may be adjusted during the on-site appraisal. The market value and condition report will be used to determine the selling price of your car.

At Autobuster you’ll find used cars that we professionally check and sell on behalf of sellers. When you buy a car from Autobuster, you can also purchase professional services such as warranty, insurance, and technical checks.

After drop-off, your car will be inspected by TCS to ensure an accurate valuation and a transparent sales process.
